About Emilie Melton

Emilie can be found eating sweets in the kitchen, dabbling in, learning, and drooling over interior design projects and new construction, and spending time teaching her kids how to read, bake, create, and try new things. She shies away from attention and doesn't take the quiet and simple things in life for granted. She grew up in Utah and loves spending time outdoors skiing, hiking, biking, and riding her kid's tiny moped around their neighborhood.

 

She plays the piano, sings in the shower, has way too many houseplants, and is never seen without her fake eyelashes on and makeup done. She believes the best things in life include caramel. She loves spoiling her kids by giving them experiences and making memories. She survives on laughter and kindness.

 

She loves weekly date nights with her husband and snuggling up for their TV shows every night while sharing a milkshake. Her favorite quote from the time she was 8 was hung in a frame in her grandma's house, "Dream big, plan well, work hard, smile always, and good things will happen," by Sally Huss.
